Release 67 On QA (Live next Thur)

An early version of R67 is on the QA server. R67 is full of new content and fixes, some of which is now on the QA server for early testing. An early version of the R67 Instructions is also available for review. We could really use everyone’s help to test all of this amazing content before it goes live next Thursday June 27!

Community Livestream – Freshwater Fishing Contest (June 21)

Another content packed weekly Community Livestream is this Friday June 21, at 4 PM CT on Twitch! This week we are going to have another Fishing contest! This time it will be a Freshwater contest in Celestis!

Avatar’s Update #336: Castle & Keep Sized Homes, New User Experience & New Dungeons Livestream Today

Castle and Keep Sized Homes!

Shroud of the Avatar’s housing system has so far had 4 sizes of homes: Row, Village, Town, and City. At the same time there have been six sizes of lots that these homes could be placed on: Row, Village, Town, City, Keep, and Castle. Each lot was double the size of the lot below it. As long as a home could fit on the lot below it could fit on a larger lot. Therefore a Village sized home could fit on a Town lot (or any larger lot).

For the very first time, starting this week, we will be offering homes larger than City sized! The first of these homes are massive seven deck Giant Pirate Galleon Castle Homes. That is correct, they are so large they can only fit on Castle Lots! For now there is a Dry-dock and Water version of this gigantic ship. Read more…

Release 66 Instructions

Please read this entire message, as well as the linked Player Guide and Known Issues.

Release 66 of Shroud of the Avatar goes live this Thursday, May 30, at 10:30 AM US Central Time (15:30 UTC).

Release 66 is the second release in which we focused on the current iteration of our Top 10 Priorities (from Q2 2019 Schedule Update). While we made some progress on these priorities we are also working on a major overhaul to the New User Experience as part of a capture and recapture email campaign that has caused us to pause and/or delay some of the originally planned for R66 deliverables.
