Release 70 of Shroud of the Avatar goes live this Thursday, September 26, at 10:30 AM US Central Time (15:30 UTC). Release 70 includes lots of exciting updates including the return of Pumpkin Head, Ulfheim scene rework, Nightmares (new creature), new decorations, Spooky recurring items, new skills, and more!
I want to express a huge amount of gratitude to the players who tested the items listed below on our QA server. They found many bugs and also provided editorial feedback on this post so that it is easy to read and actually matches what is in the game. Read more…
Release 70 Livestream – Sept 27, 2019
The Release 70 Livestream is set for this Friday, September 27, at 3 PM Central Time! All Avatars from around the world are welcome to join us in the livestream activities. We will be talking about all our Spooky Stuff (Pumpkin Head, Nightmares, etc), touring scenes, answering questions, and handing out prizes. In addition we will have a special guest (and old friend) Rustic Dragon on the livestream to talk about the Kickstarter for Through the Moongate Part II! If you have any questions about the Through the Moongate Kickstarter please submit them in the forum post.

Community Livestream – Saltwater Fishing Contest (Sept 20)
Another content packed weekly Community Livestream is this Friday September 20, at 4 PM CT on Twitch! This week we are going to have a Saltwater Fishing Contest in the Fishing Expedition!
To participate in the contest go to The Fishing Expedition and start fishing at 4:15 PM. Boats in various coastal cities (Aerie, Ardoris, Kingsport, Mud and Port Graff) will take you to the Fishing Expedition Scene (you can also try whispering one of the devs for a teleport). The best trophy fish (longest) caught by 5 PM will win a prize! NOTE: We will be verifying location and time!

September Login Reward: Dragon Statue with Flames
Next week is the first week to login and obtain the September login reward! To celebrate Dragon Con, and the imminent end of the heat of the summer, every player who logs in during the month of September will receive a unique foyer sized Dragon Statue with flame visual effects!
