Release 62 of Shroud of the Avatar goes live this Thursday, January 31, at 10:30 AM US Central Time (15:30 UTC).

Release 62 is the first release in which we focused on the current iteration of our Top 10 Priorities (from Q1 2019 post). We made progress on almost every single priority including Quality of Life (Reduced Lot Deed Taxes), Improved Reward Cycle (Row Lot Deed for completing Outskirts, Village Lot and House Deeds for Story Completion), User Interface Polish (In-Game Store Improvements), Seasonal Content (Valentine’s Items), Systems Polish (Back Slot Item Enchanting/Masterworking, Mask Patterns, Pet Balance), bug fixes, more Player-Made Dungeon pieces, and hundreds of Collectors’ Boxes were shipped before the holiday break.

The Release 62 Livestream is set for Friday February 1! All Avatars from around the world are welcome to join us in the livestream activities. We will be doing deep dives, answering questions, having sales, handing out prizes, and tracking towards stretch goals. To celebrate the upcoming holidays of Mardi Gras and Carnival our theme for Release 62 is Carnival!

This week we are going to show the incredible work that some of our players have done to create quests for our other players. Travis “Vas Corp Por” Koleski and Keith “Sannio” Quinn have started a thread in the forums where you can submit any quest / experience you have created in the game that you might want to have us show in the livestream. Be sure to include the starting point and some basic run through information.

This is the final Friday to earn the Release 61 Dark Winter stretch goals (in honor of Krampus) by making a purchase or by participating in the Rewards program!
